In June 2025, Driveway King completed a 1,850 square foot replacement in Peregrine, Colorado Springs. The curved hillside driveway had an uneven surface and awkward transitions near the garage. After removal, excavation and compacted gravel established the planned profile along the full approach. Braced curved form work and measured elevations guided the outline, drainage and garage transition. Supported reinforcement, concrete shaped to the changing grades, a broom finish and joints coordinated with the geometry completed the work. How we replace your concrete driveway
1. Evaluate, measure and define the work
The owner reviews the existing driveway and discusses your goals, vehicle use, drainage concerns and preferred finish. 4. Set the slab thickness and reinforcement

Reinforcement is supported in its specified position during placement. Steel, slab thickness and supporting ground all have a role in the completed system.
5. Place the concrete, finish and joint it
We use exterior concrete suited to the exposure, including air entrainment as specified in our standards. The surface is shaped to the planned elevations and finish. Joint planning accounts for the driveway geometry, edges and fixed structures. Reinforcement and joints help manage concrete behavior; they do not eliminate every possibility of cracking.
6. Protect the work and explain its care
