The local driveway market

South Denver Metro is our umbrella market for the communities south of Denver. It covers Cherry Hills Village, Greenwood Village, Lone Tree, and Highlands Ranch, each of which has its own municipality page and its own neighborhood pages beneath it.

Climate and weather

The metro area runs through the same freeze thaw pattern as the rest of the Front Range, with heavy deicer use on arterial routes and driveway approaches. Sun exposure and shade vary widely between older tree lined streets and newer open subdivisions.

Soils and drainage

Conditions span sandy river influenced soils near the drainages to soil that swells and shrinks with moisture across much of Douglas County. Subgrade is evaluated per property because it changes across short distances here.

Each municipality governs its own right of way, drainage, and impervious surface requirements. We confirm which city or county has jurisdiction over your address and handle the applicable permitting.
